The field is set!

All 10 invitations have been accepted, and the field is set. An impressive array of sailors will descend upon the Eastport Yacht Club May 31 through June 3, to contest for the BoatU.S. Santa Maria Cup. The sailors representing 3 continents will compete. Katie Spithill from Australia, Italian Olympic hopeful Giulia Conti, as well as her countryman Lorenza Mariani, Frenchwoman Christelle Philippe, and Jen Provan from Canada are the international teams. Representing the US are past BoatU.S. Santa Maria Cup winner Elizabeth Baylis from San Francisco, CA; 2004 US Ynlging Olympian Carol Cronin of Newport, RI; Katy Pyle-Lovell from New Orleans, LA; Deb Capozzi (part of reigning world champion Sally Barkow’s team) from Long Island, NY; and representing Eastport Yacht Club, Jo Ann Fisher (sailing with 2004 US Ynlging Olympian Liz Merrifield-Filter, another EYC member).
